What happened? I live in the Gabriel Low-Income Apartments in Highland Park, MI and on Tuesday September 2, 2026, I witnessed a mentally disturbed individual jumping in and stealing an EMS medical truck while the drivers went in to help an elderly resident.
What would you like to see happen? I'd like to see EMS vehicles equipped with safety devices to ensure that parked and running vehicles are ready to move patients to medical care without delay.
How do you think others can help? I think all the citizens in Michigan should push for a device to stop a vehicle from being able to drive away.
